Picayune, Mississippi, is located in Pearl River County, which was recently ranked sixth in the nation for population growth. The city was originally chartered in 1904 and expanded with the growth of the timber industry. Today, the Crosby Arboretum, the foremost native plant conservatory of the Southeastern United States; the Stennisphere, the Stennis Space Center’s award-winning visitors’ center; and the Carver Culture Museum are some of the local attractions that enhance the interest of this charming area. Directions
From Interstate 59 (north- or southbound), take Exit 6 onto MS State Highway 43 North, and drive west to the intersection of U.S. Highway 11 and Highway 43. At this intersection, turn right onto U.S. Highway 11 North. Go approximately one mile to the next traffic signal at E. Lakeshore Drive, and turn right. Go a quarter of a mile to the entrance of Beau Jardin, and turn left into the subdivision.
